Kartikeya Lord Murugan Idol

The sculptor has beautifully casted this piece of Lord Kartikeya in Panchaloha. After the sculpt was ready, the sculptor has added details to the sculpture to give some definition to Lord Kartikeya which is also knows as Murugan. Murugan is brave, intelligent and perfection personified. Also, the peacock is widely known for the ride for Lord Murugan. The peacock also symbolizes subjugation of all sexual desires and removal of bad habits. Legends says that because of Shiva and Parvati would shower Ganesha with love, Kartikeya decided to leave Kailasa and move to the mountains in South and did not change his mind in spite of urged by Shiva himself which is why, he was worshipped in South more than North part of India.
