Tambura Sangeetakaar

Tambura is a long-necked string instrument that compliments other instruments in an orchestral melody. It doesn’t play any tunes as such but rather just supports or sustains the melody of other instruments by providing continuous harmonic bourdon. It is analogous to a canvas of a painting over which the melodies are drawn. The sculpture is replicated in bronze with polish.
